5 Reasons Parents Should Play With The Kids

Parents need to play with their children. Not just for the kids’ sake, but for the parents! As the parent of an only-child, I sometimes feel intense pressure to join playtime with my daughter simply because there is no other alternative unless she’s on a playdate.

4-  Parenthood is More Than Basic Care

Taking time out to enjoy whatever your children are enjoying as a play activity is part of parenthood. It’s not all about bedtime routines, meal-making, and boo-boo fixing. What fun is it anyway to always be worried about the grind and schedule? Sometimes you have to let go too, Moms and Dads!

5-  It’s Good For You Mom and Dad

When you’re playing Mom or Dad, you’re getting a chance to relax and de-stress. This is good for you!
