Infant Dies After Being Left In Hot Car

Authorities in Alabama say an infant has died after being left in a hot car outside an Alabama office building.

Lt. Ryan Farrell of the Vestavia Hills Fire Department said police and firefighters were called to the building on Friday, after the 1-year-old boy was found inside the parked vehicle.

The child was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. reported that the baby boy’s father had accompanied him to the hospital.

Investigators could not determine how long the boy had been in the vehicle.
