Many family members and friends were forced to separate in an attempt to avoid the speeding truck, in the recent terror attack in Nice which killed at least 84 people, including 10 children.

Of those separated, an unnamed mother and her child were parted but thanks to her Facebook friends who asked for help to find the missing boy, the pair were reunited.

Yohlaine Ramasitera, posted alongside an image of herself with the unnamed youngster: If you see this child: CONTACT ME” In her post, she mentioned that the boy, aged between 8 and 10 months, had been inside a blue stroller when the tragedy took place.

Another friend, Rebecca Boulanger, shared the same photo on Facebook, pleading with people to spread the word. In her post she said

VERY IMPORTANT: in the rush of things with shots being fired some friends of our friends lost their baby boy !!! a 8-10 month old beautiful baby : PLEASE AGREE WITH US THEY WILL FIND HIM : an enlarged family group are out to find him amidst the uncertainty”

Boulanger is a pastor and has a large social network, which ultimately brought a happy ending to this story. In an interview with the Huffington Post, she said “

I couldn’t do much because I was at home with my own baby. But because I’m a pastor and I grew up in Nice, I decided to use my large social network to help.”

The missing boys family were busy searching for the child, but luckily 2 hours after Boulanger shared the post, she received news that the boy had been taken by a woman. The boy was totally fine!

The unidentified woman who found the boy, took him to her home for safety and when she went online she found the photo of the boy on Facebook. The boy was then reunited with his relatives.

In a later post on Facebook, Boulanger said

“Thank you Lord! With such a horrible night it is such a miracle that through all the sharing on Facebook he was found. Thank you to everyone who prayed and shared the posts and picture!”
