For no good reason, others can cause havoc and chaos in the lives of innocent people.

It’s not great that life is this way, but it’s just something humans can’t avoid. We all influence each other’s experiences, and sometimes it’s not positive.

A freak incident which involved a suicidal man and a toddler illustrated just how true this can be.

The Metro reported that, Anna Polishchuk was just ending a New Year’s celebration with her parents in Zaporizhia, Ukraine, when tragedy struck.

Below her parent’s apartment lived a man only identified by his last name, Yevgeny.

Yevgeny decided on that fatal day to end his life, but it also cost the life of Polishchuk’s 21-month-old son.

As Polishchuk said goodbye to her family, the suicidal man jumped from the building, landing directly on the little boy who had been outside with his father.

Once the mother made it back outside, paramedics were already working on her son, trying to save him.

A neighbor said they remember hearing a “loud thud” the moment it happened, but it was Polishchuk’s devastation that sent chills through everyone.

The mom was in complete despair.

“I had to shut my windows because there was so much agonising pain in her screams,” said resident Sergey Borisov. “I just couldn’t bear hearing them.”

Emergency responders desperately worked on the dying child as everyone prayed.

A paramedic even told a neighbor to “pray for the boy” as they tried to revive him.

Sadly, the toddler died from the impact. Vitaly Reznikov, a senior paramedic, said that they tried to resuscitate his heart and lungs, but he eventually passed away inside the ambulance.

Investigators said they were searching for answers as to why Yevgeny jumped that day.

We are checking if he could have been drunk, or if there were other reasons that made him do this,” a police spokeswoman stated.

It’s sad enough that this man decided to take his own life, but even more devastating that his decisions took the life of this young child.

A real tragedy!

Shocking News: Babysitter Intentionally Bashes Toddler Girl’s Head In, Killing Her In Minutes

The Richland Source reported that 20-year-old Allison Nething was sentenced to 11 years in prison Wednesday for the April 2016 death of Marley Milner.

The victim’s relatives claimed that the child suffered such a violent blow to the head that had she survived she wouldn’t be able to walk, see, or eat on her own.

In short, her injury was so severe that this could have been done in an emergency room with brain surgeons standing by at the ready and they could not have saved her,” Richland County prosecutor Gary Bishop said in court.

A family member took Milner to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, where doctors determined she suffered a subdural brain bleed, say reports. The child died at Nationwide Children’s Hospital as doctors performed emergency surgery, according to WMFD.

The Richland County Coroner’s office listed Milner’s cause of death as blunt force head trauma.

Bishop also claimed that the 2-year-old’s fatal injuries weren’t caused by previous injuries or a brain hemorrhage.

Detectives looked into who had contact with Milner in the 72 hours leading up to her death and in doing so, they found that Nething was watching the child on April 5, 2016, when the fatal incident occurred.

“All the experts agree, Marley became almost immediately unconscious and never regained consciousness,” the prosecutor said. “When this injury was inflicted, she was basically killed at that time.”

“So she went from being an active, alert, playful, loving 2 ½-year-old little girl to dead in the space of an afternoon, really in the space of a few minutes.”

Reports say that Nething watched Milner a few times for three months before she died.

Nething was sentenced just days after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges.

Authorities originally charged the 20-year-old with murder and two counts of child endangerment in connection with the girl’s death, the newspaper noted.

The Ohio woman is reportedly not eligible for early release.

She was also ordered to pay $1,000 to the victim’s grandparents and will participate in post-release control for five years.
